GIVING DAY CHALLENGE

The Giving Day Challenge is an opportunity for brothers and friends to celebrate Beta Theta Pi’s impact on its members and bolster pride in our Great and Good Fraternity while encouraging friendly competition between chapters.

Taking place over 1 day, 8 hours and 39 minutes, gifts made during the event provide unrestricted funds to the Beta Leadership Fund and support recruitment- and merit-based scholarships, volunteer and advisor training, and expanded leadership program attendance for the Fraternity’s collegiate brothers.

Jonathan Lopez, Furman ’23

"I pay 100% of my college education on my own. The Need-Based Relief scholarship from the Beta Foundation alleviated a small amount of that financial burden, but the simplicity and ease of application made it well worth it, and every dollar helps!"

Lori Miller, JMU Chapter Counselor

"The Beta events that I have attended have been very helpful in developing me into the Chapter Counselor I am today. Every event has given me information, tools and resources that help me continue to succeed in my position and to be a positive influence on the Theta Gamma (JMU) members and our campus community."

Tommy Dennis, Georgia ’25

"I pay for out of state tuition out of my own pocket. In addition, I also personally pay my fraternity dues, monthly rent and make monthly car payments. This scholarship from the Beta Foundation has helped greatly to alleviate some of that financial burden and allowed me to focus more on my studies."

Todd Marshall, Illinois ’24

"Beta has been a gracious support system that has assisted both my academic and professional aspirations. More important is the relief and support my brothers give me consistently. Whether a collegiate brother or an alumnus, you can feel the passion they have for Beta and our brotherhood."

Krupal Sharma, George Washington ’22

"The best part of my experience as an advisor is getting to see the leadership development in current collegiate students. They gain priceless experience in how to plan organized events, lead diverse teams, and build strong relationships. Seeing this growth is by far and away the best part of advising, and for an organization that has given so much to me, I've been honored to be able to pay it forward to the next generation of brothers."
